Umbrella a Cappella Umbrella a Cappella
Lyndon Piddington started a small choir in Thebarton SA and led a smaller group of friends in singing in the Adelaide Hills at Wistow. Both groups grew and had their own names (Tongue and Groove and Eden Song). Inevitably they learned the same repertoire, and so began to perform together. Thus began Umbrella A Cappella. The Umbrella part of our name attempts to describe our varied repertoire. We sing works from many periods of history in many styles and from a variety of ethnic traditions. Membership is drawn from the general community.
